Primary Function:
This role is a member of the Product Information team playing a significant role in ensuring Grainger produces and cleanses world class product information leading to outstanding merchandising outcomes for our customers. The PI Ops Supervisor will manage the Product Information Analyst team who are responsible for the day-to-day activities curating, managing and improving product information across multiple workflows. They will be responsible for the quality of this information ultimately presented to the customer to aid them in a purchasing decision. They will provide direction, guidance and oversight to support and coach the Product Information Analyst in their day-to-day activities, including, but not limited to, attribute and list-of-value (LOV) creation, data gathering through third party vendors, Pod engagement, normalization and quality assurance.
Our pods (cross-functional team, consisting of Product Information, Merchandising, Supplier Management and Publishing team resources) are responsible for bringing together all the merchandising efforts in our key workstreams to ensure great outcomes for our customers.
